Mythical Tiger Sculpture
Originally created as part of my graduation project Gods of the Anthropocene (nominated for the dutch Drempelprijs 2020), this sculpture was part of a large-scale installation developed during the COVID-19 period. Following extended university closures and restricted access to the studio spaces, most of the installation was lost, with only the tiger sculpture surviving. The remaining works were never able to be properly documented.
This mythical creature is welcoming the year of the water tiger february 1st 2022.
The sculpture was exhibited at the graduation show at the Willem de Kooning Academy, Culture Hub Rotterdam, NDSM artist in residence at Pazzi Noord Amsterdam and Gallery DON in Munich.
