Nadja Stolarski, also known as Nadunia, is a German-Polish illustrator and multidisciplinary artist (BFA in Illustration & Transformation Design, Willem de Kooning Academy), currently based between Amsterdam and Munich.
Her personal work inhabits the space between nature, mythology, and animistic traditions. Through vibrant depictions of anthropomorphic animals and mythical beings, she constructs enchanted environments that imagine the world from nature's perspective. Drawing on symbolism, spirituality, and the rhythms of the natural world, she uses storytelling to create playful yet mystical narratives that invite reflection on the inner world while exploring transformation, interconnectedness, and the delicate tension between vitality and impermanence.
Nadja works across murals, commissioned artworks, illustration, set design, and exhibition visuals, guiding projects from concept to completion with a seamless mix of imagination and precision. With a practice that bridges local roots and international collaborations, she creates art that is both deeply personal and universally accessible.
